Great video. You cleaned that mixing thing fantastically we!!. I'm lucky if I wipe those small ones off. I usually let it drain into a Spare.mold. I like to pour resin into a spare mold when I mix too much. Sometimes that turns out interesting. These fruit ja rs are really nice. I have the strawberry. My cat has found out he can knock that over and see what's inside easily. Now its never sitting upright with the lid on. I bet teachers are getting lots of resin apples.

This was my first mold for resin. I used my silicone ice cube trays. I wore this out. I made it similar but on the back I put tiny stickers and charms and little messages. Made them key chains for every cat lover I know. Then I got a paw shaped trinket dish with a lid. That was my favorite. Now I have an embarrassing amount of molds. LOL. LOVED THE VIDEO. Best one for resin.

I like the purple one best. Then the cloud. I'm sorry t.he tattoos got. Lost. They were so pretty.

Do I have to seal it?? I just molded one and I’ve never done any ceramic. I’m familiar with resin but it’s sooo hot right now I didn’t want my resin chess boards and charcuterie boards on the table at sales so I wanted to try this as an alternative.

You can see a hint of the tattoo in the flower mold. It wasn’t very vibrant to start with. I haven’t moved on to the reveal of the other two molds, yet. Maybe with more muted pastel colors mixed in the resin, instead of wispy’s, which I really like. I am only considering trying to make my second career in the art world. I am a pharmacist, so I like mixing, and chemical reactions. And, I adore color! Many people I used to work with would agree that I always had new pens in lots of different colors.

I do love this product but also find that it just doesn't take the color unless you use a lot more than one would think is needed. I have heard that jesmonite color is more highly pigmented, so I ordered some and it will take a couple to 3 weeks to have them delivered through Amazon, so we'll see. I have tried mica powder, alcohol inks, acrylic paint and the brand name to color items, so far the colors are very pale, but I'm hopeful that the set I ordered will do better.

Just bought three of these 2 lb bags for $5 USD on clearance each. I found the metric scoop weird, since the measurements in the directions are in tablespoons and cups, but the scoop shows milliliters. Glad to hear that each scoop is 1/6 of a cup, which correlates with the powder measurements being in 6th of a cup increments ranging from 1/6 to 1 cup.

All your experiments were successes, imo. The one with more purple would make a beautiful sun catcher in a window, just drill a hole near an edge to hang it from a ribbon. I do like the one with a lip on the edge; it would make a great coaster for larger mugs & the edge would catch any moisture dripping off the glass. Good job!

Nice job. I’m going to try this and I will use nail polish and then alcohol inks and then acrylic paint and see which is best. I have some really interesting nail polishes, including shimmering, day glow, metallic sheen and so forth. I’ll let you know how it goes.

They all look amazing. The first one reminds me of the Character from Helluva Boss Beelzebub! That one is definitely my favorite!! I love watching the videos on this! It was always my favorite way to do nails in high school when it was popular.. and to do it on resin pieces.. that's just *Chefs kiss*

Do a thin layer with tatt and let it set up then do a layer of alcohol ink then the white.

I love love love the purple one. Maybe a little less alcohol inks so you can see the tattoos?
